Tim Posey

Lead

Tim was born the son of a Baptist preacher and by three years old found himself on stages, where his father preached, singing gospel songs with his family. He thought every family sang in four and five part harmony. At 8 years old, he began classical piano training, classical performer and composer. He continued his training for the next 6 years. The emphasis on the classical training led him to be able to play and perform all types of music.

Over the last twenty years, Tim has played and sang in several successful groups, gospel and country music throughout the United States and Canada. After signing a recording contract with a Texas record label, he began traveling and singing. He now comes full circle returning to his gospel roots to sing southern gospel quartet music. The gospel feel and sound never left his natural, God-given talent and now feels he is called to travel and minister for the cause of Christ. Tim is married and has three beautiful children and lives in Garland Texas.

David McMahon

Baritone

David McMahon co-founded Of One Accord with the intent to reach souls for Christ through the ministry of southern Gospel Music. The desire to sing in a quartet was instilled in David by hearing and seeing the likes of Dixie Echos, Florida Boys, Cathedrals and others. A lasting impression of the hearts for Christ shown by Tim and Tony Greene planted a seed in him that has grown over the years. David spent thirteen years in the Army, singing in musicals, choirs and as a soloist. Upon his discharge, he met his lovely wife, Jolie, and was granted the experience of raising two lovely daughters, Jaymie and Johanna.

Shortly after arriving in the North Dallas area, he became a member of First Baptist Church of Frisco, where he met Darrin Bruner. Darrin invited him to be the lead singer with Sanctuary 101, a quartet founded in the church. In the Fall of 2004, God kept tugging at him to do more service through singing, and Of One Accord was formed through God's will and strength.
