David McMahon
Baritone
David McMahon co-founded Of One Accord with the intent to reach souls for Christ through the ministry of southern Gospel Music. The desire to sing in a quartet was instilled in David by hearing and seeing the likes of Dixie Echos, Florida Boys, Cathedrals and others. A lasting impression of the hearts for Christ shown by Tim and Tony Greene planted a seed in him that has grown over the years. David spent thirteen years in the Army, singing in musicals, choirs and as a soloist. Upon his discharge, he met his lovely wife, Jolie, and was granted the experience of raising two lovely daughters, Jaymie and Johanna.
Shortly after arriving in the North Dallas area, he became a member of First Baptist Church of Frisco, where he met Darrin Bruner. Darrin invited him to be the lead singer with Sanctuary 101, a quartet founded in the church. In the Fall of 2004, God kept tugging at him to do more service through singing, and Of One Accord was formed through God's will and strength.
